Lakeside Baptist Church Exists to Glorify the Lord Jesus Christ. We are here to provide a loving atmosphere where anyone can hear the good news of the Gospel and be nourished by the teaching of the Word of God. We invite you to come and worship with us very soon.

Loving Atmosphere

At Lakeside our doors are wide open to anyone from all walks of life. Regardless of who you are, we will consider your visit a blessing from God and extend a warm welcome to you.

Proclaiming the Gospel

At Lakeside we place a heavy emphasis on the Good News of the Gospel. In a nutshell, the Gospel consists of the following truths: (1) That All People are part of a sinful and fallen race known as humanity. (2) We each have an indwelling sinful nature, inherited from the first man, that causes us to sin against God our Creator. (3) Our sin has rendered us condemned and deserving of God's terrible wrath. (4) There is nothing we can do to remedy our sin problem, which makes us hopelessly lost and undone. (5) God in His infinite mercy and grace has provided the means for us to be forgiven and cleansed from all of our sin. (6) Christ came to earth and lived a completely sinless life, yet He took upon Himself the sin of all people and endured the wrath of God on a Cross. (7) God now offers eternal life to any person who will turn to God from a current Godless path of life, believing that He is both willing and able to save all who come to Him.

Solid Bible Teaching

At Lakeside we hold a high view of the Bible. It is hard to find churches that consistently and thoroughly teach the Bible. Lakeside Baptist church is Vidalia's premiere Bible-Teaching church. We teach through each of the Books of the Bible in a verse-by-verse format. We teach the Bible in a way that is exciting, practical, and easy to understand.
